PasteTrack
Free Chrome extension

Know which reply got the signup.

PasteTrack lives inside Reddit and X. The moment you paste a link, it offers to wrap it in a tracked pst.to link, so every comment, reply and quote-tweet becomes a shipment you can follow all the way to clicks and signups. No UTMs, no dashboard to wire up.

Works inside Reddit and X today. LinkedIn and Hacker News next. You only ever track links you tap, nothing is wrapped silently.

replying in r/SaaS · "How do you attribute dark social?"
Honestly the fix for me was tagging the link before I shared it: growthkit.dev/attribution walks through it.

One tap here turns into a shipment in your dashboard.

Works where you actually share

Three taps, then a receipt.

No new tab, no UTM builder, no analytics archaeology. It all happens right where you were already posting.

01
Paste a link where you post
Drop your link into a Reddit comment or an X reply the way you always do. On X, right where founders keep links: a reply or quote-tweet.
02
Tap "Track this link"
A chip appears beside it. One tap turns the link into a pst.to code, and you always see exactly what goes out.
03
See which reply converted
Every tracked share becomes a shipment label: clicks, signups, and the exact line that delivered them.

Then your dashboard shows what delivered.

Each tracked link is a shipment. One reply usually does most of the work, and now you can see it instead of guessing.

Curious how much of your sharing is already invisible?

“Dark social” is all the sharing your analytics cannot see: links dropped in DMs, replies and group chats that show up as “direct traffic” with no source. Paste a link and we will estimate how much of your reach is flying blind. It is a teaser for what the extension makes visible.

No account. We score how invisible your sharing is to analytics. We do not store the link.

The honest questions.

What exactly do you track?

Only the links you explicitly tap “Track this link” on. Nothing is wrapped silently. You always see the resulting pst.to/… link before it goes out.

Do you store my posts or read the page?

No. We do not store your DOM or your post text. We capture the tracked link and the context you opt into (the subreddit or thread it was posted under), nothing else.

Which platforms work today?

Reddit and X today. LinkedIn and Hacker News are next, with the same explicit-tap flow. On X, the tracked link goes in a reply or quote-tweet, and X re-wraps it as a t.co link. The click still routes through pst.to first.

How is this different from Bitly or Dub?

Those shorten a link. PasteTrack captures the context at the moment you share, which comment, which thread, and tells you which reply actually converted, not just total clicks.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. If Pro does not show you a converting reply in your first month, reply to the receipt email and we will refund it.
