# PasteTrack

> PasteTrack is a free Chrome extension that lives inside Reddit and X. The moment you paste a link, it offers to wrap it in a tracked pst.to link, so every comment, reply and quote-tweet becomes a trackable "shipment" you can follow all the way to clicks and signups. No UTMs, no dashboard to wire up. It tells you which specific reply actually converted, not just total clicks.

## How it works

- Paste a link where you post (a Reddit comment or an X reply / quote-tweet).
- Tap "Track this link". The link becomes a short pst.to code. Nothing is ever wrapped silently; you always see the resulting link before it goes out.
- Each tracked share becomes a shipment label in your dashboard: clicks, signups, and the exact line that delivered them.

## Privacy

- PasteTrack only tracks links you explicitly tap "Track this link" on.
- It does not store your DOM or post text. It captures the tracked link and the context you opt into (the subreddit or thread), nothing else.

- Live today: Reddit and X. On X the tracked link goes in a reply or quote-tweet; X re-wraps it as a t.co link, but the click still routes through pst.to first.
